Cauliflower Concepts

Prudac’s cauliflower varieties have several unique features which allow for various concepts. Two examples:

1. Low water footprint. All Prudac’s cauliflower varieties have short, blue-green leaves. This reduces evaporation and gives our varieties the smallest water footprint in the industry. This is ideal for professional growers with limited water regulation or an eco-focus, but also makes them easy to grow for hobby growers.
2. Cauliflower for Dummies. The Cauliflower F1 - PRU series allows for a 100 day harvest without any stress for the hobby grower. The series consists of 6 F1 hybrids with crop times varying widely: 60, 80, 100, 120, 140 and 160 days after planting. This means the hobby grower only needs to plant once. Furthermore, the short, wax-coated leaves reduce water-need and secure for fungi and insects. Hot days and nights do not delay harvest, as is common for other varieties. Last but not least, the cauliflowers never turn bitter, no coverage is needed.
