Ornamentals
Always on my mind ….
Myosotis Eva® is our series of truly ornamental myosotis varieties. Myosotis Eva® is characterized by a compact growth habit, high germination rate and excellent vigor. Myosotis is a genus of flowering plants in the family Boraginaceae. The name is derived from the Greek words for ‘mouse’s ear’, which the foliage is thought to resemble.
The plant is also known as the Forget-me-not. The Myostis
originates from Western-Eurasia, around 60 known species,
and New Zealand, 40 known species.
The plant flowers early, comparable in crop time
with a pansy F1 culture.
Amazing allium – can do it all!
As a decorative plant a stunning show in your garden, but with the tasty onion-garlick taste of its leaves an great addition to culinary excellence.
Prudac’s breeding focusses on two qualities of the
allium species which make its varieties ideal for cooking, but also give it a great look. First, some Allium species develop thick and tasty leaves rather than bulbs. These species also have persistent foliage which do not wither away after flowering. Second, some Allium species develop spectacular purple, ball shaped flowers. The characteristic onion and garlic taste is derived from the chemical compounds the Allium species produce from cysteine sulfoxides.
