Prudac breeds two types of container tomatoes: small container (<17 cm/7″) tomatoes and large container tomatoes (>17 cm/7″). The small container tomatoes are ideal for a kitchen or patio and the large container tomatoes for a terrace or garden. Key in all varieties is the ease of production of the tomato plant, quickness of showing red fruit, an abundance of fruit and a delicious taste.

The official name of the tomato plant is the Solanum lycopersicum and it belongs to the nightshades family, Solanaceae. The species originated in South America and spread over the world after the European colonization of the Americas in the 16th century. The name tomato is derived from Aztec name for the fruit: tomatl. The tomato has a prominent place in the kitchen and can be used in various ways.
